My name is Chris, and my life is defined by two things: Service and Discovery.From the Navy to the Goldfields.
I am currently an active-duty Navy Officer. My career has afforded our family incredible opportunities to see the world, and most recently, it has brought us to the rugged and beautiful landscapes of Australia.

It’s about teaching my kids, Lucca, Finney, and Livvy, the value of hard work, the thrill of the hunt, and a deep respect for history and nature.

The Undertaking
We started this journey to share the joy of family-friendly prospecting with the world. We noticed that a lot of gold mining content was either too technical or geared solely toward professional miners. We wanted to create a space for the "Family Prospector."
